I've got a secret. I'm really loving the country music that has appeared on the Podsafe Music Network.

I think it may have been the comedian Billy Connolly who performed a sketch about how all country music, requires depression, a loved one leaving or the death of a trusted horse or dog. Perhaps in the old days that may have been true more often than not, but the new breed of musicians playing country music have broken the mould.

As someone based in the UK, my chances of seeing real country music being performed live were fairly limited until a few years ago when I visited some of the southern states in the USA. From then on in, I was hooked and I hope this podcast will get you hooked too.
